Description

Our Company BOROVAS GROUP S.A., taking advantage of the years of exprerience on producing high standard materials, has developed STONECRETE OVERLAY SYSTEM (forged cement). It has a very broad range of applications, on surfaces of internal and external spaces, such as : floors, wall surfaces, staircases, baths, handmade bathtubs, wash basin and stands, swimming pools and their surrounding areas, and many more. The thickness of the application varies from 4mm to 7mm and it is available in great variety of colours, providing the singularity and high aesthetics of a hand-made application.

STONECRETE OVERLAY SYSTEM has high adhesion and offers high resistance to cracking. It can be applied, with the right preparation, on any type of horizontal and vertical surface, such as concrete, brick wall, plaster, marble, ceramic tile, plaster-board, timber, glass and even on metal surfaces. The STONECRETE OVERLAY surface finish can be smooth or embossed, based on the project's demands, and on the final construction phase, the surface is being sealed and waterproofed.

One more advantage of STONECRETE OVERLAY SYSTEM is its particularly strong and durable surface, due to the Overlay Colour Hardeners used as one of the product's main components. The colour shades do not fade out, but their original tones are maintained as time passes by, as the colouring is achieved by the addition of natural oxides, whose shade and colour remains unchangeable because of their inorganic constituents.

STONECRETE OVERLAY SYSTEM is a technology characterized by high aestetics and durability, providing a valuable solution to all architects.

As for its construction method, thorough cleaning of the substrate's surface is required, in order to remove any friable and perishable materials.
